Indian Rescue Mission Needs Your Support!

A WORD FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear Friends,
Warm greetings in the name of Jesus.
God has called each of us to be channels of his love, grace and
salvation to a needy world. To take what we have freely received in
Christ and freely give it to others. We read in the Matthew 14:19b
that Jesus “gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the
multitude.” This is the account of Jesus feeding the 5,000. Please
note that the disciples did not receive their loaves from Jesus and
run off and hide somewhere satisfied that their needs were met. Nor
did they set up a bread and fish stand and seek personal profit from
God’s provision. (God’s Kingdom is not private enterprise.) Rather
they received from Jesus the fish and the bread with a commitment to
share it with others. God gives His choicest blessings to those who
have an open hand. “If God can get it through us, He will give it to
us!”
Also notice in this same passage that distributing to others allows us
to experience supernatural increase. Matthew 14:20 reads, “And they
did all eat, and were filled and they took up the fragments that
remained twelve baskets full.” As we give what we have for Christ’s
sake and the Gospel, the end result will be more than we started with
(Mark 10:29-30). It is selfishness that dries up God’s flow and supply
in our lives. Burying our talents, hoarding our resources, and saving
our lives leads to loss! (Proverbs 11:24-25).
In the economy of God’s Kingdom, increase and multiplication comes
through distribution-giving, serving and ministering to the needs of
others. The Apostle Paul made it clear that when we give
sacrificially, God releases supernatural grace in our lives. “And God
is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having
all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. (2
Corinthians 9:8).
We are so thankful for each and every one of our faithful partners and
sponsors that God is using to enable us to carry on and expand this
work among the children of India. Many lives are being transformed
through your giving. God will not forget what you have done and will
reward you at the Resurrection of the Just (Lk 14:12-14; Lk 16:9-13:
Lk 18:22; Eph. 4:28 & 1 Tim. 6:18-19) The only way you and I can put
our treasure in Heaven as Jesus commanded us is to put our treasure
into something going to heaven, the souls of men & women, boys and
girls brought to Christ by our faithful giving to God’s work! Your
treasure on earth can produce true treasures in Heaven. The treasures
of Heaven are not the gold streets or the diamond doorways but the
“jewels of people” who are there because of our faithfulness to God.
Our continual prayer is that God will greatly bless and reward each
one of you who are or who will be partnering with us to carry on this
work of redeeming children’s lives from sin and its ravages of abuse,
discrimination, poverty, illiteracy and neglect. God is giving these
precious children “a hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11) through
Christ’s love and raising up a praying army of disciples to carry the
Gospel all over India!

Subject: Lepers praying from India

Greetings to you in the precious name of our lord Jesus Christ. It is my privilege writes an email to you and share about burden God had laid in our hearts to reach unreached and care for the untouchables in our land of India. We are team of pastors and a minister preaches the Gospel in the rural, tribal, and remote areas of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Out of the population of a billion people in India, only 2.4% are Christian. We have we have very little support except to feed and care for the lepers, poor widows and orphan children. The streets are full of children and victims of leprosy who have no place to live except on the street. They are basically starving. We can not provide housing for these people, but they do take to the streets with food and utensils so the people you see pictured will not die of starvation.

It cost very little to feed many people in India. I, Pastor Matthew Raju and his fellow workers are also not well off, sacrificing their own lives to help these “untouchables.” They are mocked and persecuted and have to take care of their own families and depend totally on God's provision to continue their ministry. Most of them walk to proclaim the gospel because they have no bicycles.

Whatever size contribution you make to us is directly used in the Kingdom of God. The Lord will bless you for it. Giving to the poor is lending to God. That's like a money-back guarantee!

Your brother in Jesus.
